There comes a point when you have to look honestly at your financial future.

When I lost my job at 60, I looked for another one.

I still had time to do something about it.

I knew I needed to make more money.

So I started looking at the possibilities.

An online business seemed like one possibility. The problem was, I had no idea where to start.

I didn’t need someone to tell me I was capable.

I didn’t know exactly what A Few Good Friends would become. In some ways, it’s still evolving.

But now I had an idea I wanted to turn into something real.

And because I’d already started learning how to build something online, I had a place to begin.
